Bridges, CARS to offer ‘Exceptional Explorations’ at Children’s Museum

TERRE HAUTE — Bridges of Indiana and CARS (Child Adult Resource Services) are teaming with the Terre Haute Children’s Museum to sponsor a unique opportunity for individuals with disabilities to experience the facility.

This program, titled “Exceptional Explorations,” will allow individuals with disabilities and their families to experience the Terre Haute Children’s Museum at no cost.

Six dates have been set aside for these individuals to have the opportunity to experience the facility on a more personal level.

“We are excited to team up with the Children’s Museum, to provide this opportunity. We will use these events to celebrate going back to school, Halloween, Christmas, Disability Awareness Month, Autism Awareness Month, and Special Olympics Summer Games. We encourage all of those interested to come have a fun and unique experience at the fantastic Children’s Museum on us,” said Tiffany Smith of Bridges of Indiana.

Register at a kiosk in the Children’s Museum at the beginning of September.

Those who are unable to visit the facility or who want to register before September can complete the application through the Bridges of Indiana website www.bridgesofindiana.com.

Registration is necessary to ensure that those who participate have a positive and worthwhile experience.
