Children’s Museum plans New Year’s Noon party

TERRE HAUTE — The Terre Haute Children’s Museum is planning a New Year’s Noon Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

During the event, museum guests will make and decorate their own New Year’s hats, crowns and noisemakers. They will also participate in a countdown to noon and then parade through the museum wearing their newly made crowns and playing their noisemakers.

The celebration is free with museum admission. Museum admission is $7 for adults and children over 24 months. Admission is free for members of the Terre Haute Children’s Museum and children under 24 months.

Since it opened its doors in 1988, the Terre Haute Children’s Museum has been a fun and exciting destination for children and families, and its mission to “enrich our children’s lives through the exploration of science and technology” is realized through hands-on experiences with a variety of exhibits.
