Santa and more at Clabber Girl this weekend

TERRE HAUTE — Clabber Girl has decked its halls with a winter wonderland of trees to prepare for the annual Country Christmas from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Celebrate the holidays as Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in a horse-drawn carriage in front of the Bake Shop to greet children at 10 a.m.

Join Santa in his sleigh where visitors are able to receive a Santa picture taken by Mic’s Pics.

Mrs. Claus will be sharing some of her favorite Christmas stories in the Victorian Parlor throughout the day.

Santa’s helpers will be hard at work helping children craft their own ornaments and holiday treats. Strolling carolers will wander the halls to ensure that holiday cheer is spread throughout.

Visitors can explore downtown on a horse-drawn carriage ride.

Start the day in the Clabber Girl Bake Shop for breakfast or lunch or enjoy a cup of locally roasted Rex coffee during the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Explore the specialty food items available in the Bake Shop retail space and create a unique holiday gift set in time for Christmas.

Artist Julia London-Meddles will paint on site as she features her Christmas card series in the Clabber Girl Gallery. Christmas cards and prints will be available for purchase. Also, Deer Ridge Woodcraft and Bob Follett will be present with an array of gift items.

Admission to Country Christmas is free. Tickets can be purchased at the door for various activities.
