WordFest 2012 calls for presenters

TERRE HAUTE — Arts Illiana is seeking workshop presenters for WordFest 2012, an event at which writers network and  share works in progress and at which emerging writers are offered professional guidance.

Talented writers with expertise in any and all literary genres are invited to take part as presenters. Two-hour workshops should allow participants to create a piece of work or to receive input on a work in progress.

A panel discussion focusing on the “nuts and bolts” of writing and publishing is also planned.  

Topics of interest include poetry, short story, flash fiction, playwriting, writing for children and young adults, memoir, marketing and promoting work, and publishing.

Those who would like to participate as presenterd should visit the artsilliana.org homepage and click on the WordFest logo to download the Call for Presenters form.

Completed forms can be submitted electronically to info@artsilliana.org. Further questions can be directed to Arts Illiana by calling (812) 235-5007 or emailing the above address.  

WordFest 2012 will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Vigo County Public Library in downtown Terre Haute.

Deadline to apply as a workshop presenter is Sept. 1.
