Detroit-based punk rock band the Koffin Kats is gearing up for its long-awaited U.S. headlining tour in support of its new album, “Our Way and The Highway,” which is available in stores and on iTunes, from Sailor’s Grave Records.
The band will be performing May 3 at The Verve in downtown Terre Haute.
This year marks a turning point for the Koffin Kats as they rise from the psychobilly underground to infiltrate the mainstream. The Koffin Kats are known for their insanely wild and vigorous performances and produce a unique style of booze-soaked punk rock on “Our Way and The Highway” (featuring hard-hitting tracks like “Choke,” “For The Good Times” and “The Way Of The Road”) that has stirred up excitement from fans and critics.
The album is a culmination of the band’s history, road scars and outlaw psycho punk in every ear-ripping track.
