Shadow Asylum haunted house in search of monsters

TERRE HAUTE — Does scaring the daylights out of people sound like fun? Are you artistic or looking for an unusual way to express yourself? Is raising money and helping the community important to you? Shadow Asylum is looking for enthusiastic volunteers age 16 and over as haunt actors for the 2012 season.

Auditions and interviews for premier acting roles will be this weekend at 949 N. 10th St. There are three open call times: 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome, but registering in advance is helpful.

Volunteers should arrive in street clothes with a photo ID. No experience is required; enthusiastic volunteers will be trained. Shadow Asylum volunteers are typically a diverse group of all ages, backgrounds and talents.

This year’s event will benefit United Cerebral Palsy of the Wabash Valley (www.ucpwv.org).

Register by visiting www.Shadow

Asylum.net and selecting the volunteer link.
