Men of Note & Claudia to perform Saturday

TERRE HAUTE — The Men of Note and Claudia will entertain from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday in Westminster Village.

The band will perform big band standards made famous by Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and other bandleaders. It also will play a variety of ballroom dances, including waltzes and tangos.  

The band’s vocalist, Claudia Fulwiler, will sing selections from the American Songbook from the ’40s and ’50s. Other band members include George Graesch, leader and trumpet; Dalvin Boone, trumpet; Matthew Balensuela, reeds; Norm Hanson, trombone; David Gibbs, piano; Mark Ford, bass; and Pete Ekstrom, drums.  

Tickets are $5. Westminster Village is at 1120 E. Davis Drive. For reservations call (812) 232-7533.
