Author to launch second novel with book signing at Vigo library

TERRE HAUTE — Author Darrell Case draws on his 30 years of experience in the jail and prison ministry in his new novel “Never Ending Spring.” Set in the fictional town of Elm Grove, Ind., the story opens in 1949 with the murder of a pastor and his wife.

Case will launch his second novel with a book signing at the Vigo County Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon. Dec. 8. He will follow with a signing from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 15 at Sullivan Public Library. One hundred percent of the proceeds of both signings will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Case challenges other authors to join him in funding this cause.

Case has been a missionary to the jails and prisons of Indiana and Illinois since 1982. He has served as the associate pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church and has written many works, several of them appearing in national publications. He is the author of “Live Life to the Fullest,” “Out of Darkness” and is a regular contributor to the daily devotional “Call to Glory.” He and his wife Connie live in Indiana.
