Indiana Flower & Patio Show invites fans to view ‘The Build’ March 3, 4

INDIANAPOLIS — The 54th annual Indiana Flower and Patio Show will open its doors one week early again this year for a  pre-show event.

On March 3 and 4, between noon to 3 p.m., free tours of the Indiana State Fairgrounds’ West Pavilion will be offered as “The Build” begins and the “bones” of the 20 Showcase Gardens begin to take shape. Full-grown trees, gigantic rocks, hefty hardscapes and tons of sand will be moved throughout the building.

Indiana’s premier landscape designers will create outdoor living magic — and share secrets that easily and inexpensively can be incorporated into the visitors’ own backyards, decks, porches or patios. Tour space is limited; reservations are required. Call (317) 576-9933 or email info@hsishows.com.

The show runs March 10-18 at the state fairgrounds, 1202 East 38th St., in Indianapolis. Adult admission is $12; children 12 and under are free. Visit www.indianaflowerandpatioshow.com.

Parking in convenient fairgrounds’ lots is just $5 per vehicle, with free shuttle service. For complete information about the show including online tickets, discounts, special events, dining options, hours and more, visit www.indianaflowerandpatioshow.com.

The annual exhibition will offer more than 40 Showcase and Featured Exhibitor Gardens, hundreds of finer outdoor living experts ready to answer questions, and thousands of ideas that guests can take home and adapt to their own outdoor living spaces.
