Terre Haute Symphony presents “Celebrating the Year of the River 2013” Sept. 29 in Tilson Auditorium on the Indiana State University campus.
The symphony’s season opener will feature Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5, known for having one of the most heart-warming French horn solos in the repertoire and ending with an explosion of musical color. The addition of Mozart and Karidoyanes is sure to make it a memorable evening.
Other concerts are set for Nov. 3, Dec. 1, March 23 and April 20.
Free “Family Time” concerts will be presented from 2 to 2:30 p.m. during Saturday dress rehearsals at Tilson Auditorium. No tickets or reservations required.
Enjoy dining with other symphony patrons at “Supper at the Symphony” beginning at 5:30 p.m.
