Silly Safaris brings live show to Children’s Museum

TERRE HAUTE — Do you want to get really close to some amazing animals? Would you like to touch some of your favorites? Then join the Terre Haute Children’s Museum at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, for a live animal show with Silly Safaris.

A Silly Safaris Funologist will bring a variety of animals, including mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians and bugs, to teach audience members about nature and the world around us. Some lucky guests will even get to jump up on stage to participate in games and various fun activities.

Silly Safaris is the leading provider of live animal conservation education in Indiana and provides more than 3,000 conservation inspiring live animal shows every year throughout the United States. Silly Safaris mission is to create positive human animal interactions that inspire responsible pet ownership and wild animal conservation.

The Silly Safaris show at the Terre Haute Children’s Museum is free with museum admission. Admission is $7 for children age 2 and over and adults, and admission is free for children under age 2 and members of the museum. The museum is at 727 Wabash Ave. and will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 14.
