ENGAGEMENTS: July 8, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — Kinnebrew-Kinnett

Tamzin Rose Kinnebrew and Joseph Nelson Kinnett of Durham, N.C., will be united in marriage on July 22, 2012, in the First Presbyterian Church at Durham.

The bride is the daughter of George and Cynthia Kinnebrew of Terre Haute. She is a 1999 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School, a 2003 graduate of Brown University and a 2008 graduate of New York University with a law degree. She is an assistant public defender in Chatham County, N.C.

Kinnett is the son of Caroline (Kaylo) Kinnett of Terre Haute and Nelson and Martha Kinnett of Indianapolis. He is a 2000 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and attended Indiana State University. He is a certified nurse’s aide at UNC Hospital while pursuing a degree in respiratory therapy.



Moore-Lawler

Courtney Marie (Church) Moore and Jason Daniel Lawler of Terre Haute will be united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, in Excalibur Catering at West Terre Haute.

The bride-elect is the daughter of K. Susan Church of Shelburn, and James L. Church and Susan J. Church of Ocala, Fla. She is a 2002 graduate of North Central High School, a 2011 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College and a teller at First Financial Bank.

Lawler is the son of Peter D. Lawler of Putnamville and Jae Sheddy of Masonville, Colo. He is a 1999 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School and is employed by Moggers Restaurant and Brewery.



Avelis-Arnold

Jade Avelis and Alex Arnold will be united in marriage on Aug. 4, 2012 in South Bend, Ind.

Jade is the daughter of Jim and Kim Avelis of Terre Haute. She is a graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School (2004) and Indiana Wesleyan University (2008). She earned her master’s degree (2011) from the University of Notre Dame, where she is currently working on her PhD in sociology.

Alex is the son of Herrick and Jane Arnold of Trabuco Canyon, Calif. He is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine (2005) and earned his PhD in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame (2012). He is employed at the John Templeton Foundation in West Conshohocken, Pa.
