Engagements: Sept. 6, 2009

VanGilder-Casad

Julie Beth VanGilder and Eric Sean Casad, both of Terre Haute, will be united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, in United Methodist Temple.

Friends and relatives are invited. A reception will follow in the Operating Engineers Union Hall.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Alfred VanGilder II and Mr. & Mrs. William Toney. She attended Terre Haute North Vigo High School, graduated in 2001 from WEM High School Minnesota, and attended Ivy Tech Community College. She is security director at Honey Creek Mall.

Casad is the son of Robert Casad and the late Margie Casad. He graduated in 1995 from Terre Haute North and is employed by CSX Railroad.



Inman-Van Buren

Brittany Nichole Inman and Robert Williams Van Buren, both of Brazil, will be united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, in the First Christian Church in Staunton.

A reception will follow in the Elks Lodge in Brazil.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Shane and Toni McWilliams of Brazil and Joe Inman of Shepardsville. She is a 2008 graduate of Northview High School in Brazil, attends Ivy Tech Community College, and is a pharmacy technician at CVS.

Van Buren is the son of Carol Ross of Denver and Robert Van Buren II of Hopkinsville, Ky. He is a 2006 graduate of Northview High School, serves with the Army National Guard, and is employed by Advance Auto Parts.



Cook-Dowell

Jessica Noelle Cook of Terre Haute and Jason Wesley Dowell will be united in marriage during a private ceremony on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Troy E. Cook of Farmersburg. She is a 1999 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a case manager for Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos, and Newlin Law Offices.

Dowell is the son of Diane L. Dowell of Terre Haute and Charles W. Dowell of Brazil. He is a 2000 graduate of Northview High School in Brazil and is employed by Monarch Beverage.



Carson-Corey

Amanda Blake Carson and Jason Alan Corey, both of Terre Haute, will be united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, in The Landing at Fort Harrison.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Tammy and David Jones of Terre Haute and Bryan Carson of Farmersburg. She is a 2001 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and is employed by Pfister and Co. Inc.

Corey is the son of Carolyn and John Corey of Cory. He is a 1997 graduate of Clay City High School and is employed by Wabash Valley Packaging Corp.
