Martin-Smith


Courtney L. Martin of Kokomo and Austin R. Smith of Brazil will be united in marriage during a late-afternoon ceremony in May 2008 in the First Baptist Church in Kokomo.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the Rev. Paul and Beth Martin of Kokomo. She is a 2001 graduate of Western High School, a 2005 graduate of Ball State University Muncie with a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and marketing. She is a sales representative for the Cintas Corp.

Smith is the son of Kathy and Duane Butt of Brazil. He is a 2000 graduate of Northview High School in Brazil and a 2004 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is employed by Advantage Medical.



Ferres-Western


Angie Ferres and Brent Western, both of Oldsmar, Fla., will be united in marriage Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Janet Ferres of New Port Richey, Fla., and Fred Ferres of Terre Haute. She is a 1996 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School, has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a master’s degree from the University of South Florida. She is employed as a technology specialist.

Western is the son of Karen and Jim Western of Oldsmar. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and is a compliance adviser for Raymond James and Associates.



Prettyman-Enyeart


Shara Prettyman of West Terre Haute and Craig Enyeart of Terre Haute will be united in marriage at 5 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, in the Country Club of Terre Haute.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Carol and Ron Prettyman of West Terre Haute. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Vanguard University of Southern California and a master’s degree in education from the University of Phoenix. She is employed by the Vigo County School Corp.

Enyeart is the son of Jan and Mark Enyeart of North Manchester. He has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in criminology from Indiana State University and is employed by ISU.



Brown-Hackney


Alison Fay Brown and David Stephen Hackney, both of Nashville, Tenn., will be united in marriage Saturday, June 21, 2008, in the White Chapel at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dixie Brown of Terre Haute and the late John Thomas Brown. She is a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School, has a degree from Indiana State University and is a kindergarten teacher.

Hackney is the son of Frances and Charles Hackney of Madison, Tenn. He is a graduate of Goodpasture Christian School and has degrees from David Lipscomb University and Abilene Christian University. He is employed by Weidner Inc., a consulting firm specializing in city and county government and based out of Austin, Texas.
