TERRE HAUTE —
With 82 of 87 precincts counted at about 7:15 p.m., incumbent Vigo County Commissioner Judith A. Anderson was far ahead of challenger Sean Patrick Feeney, in one of three county races involving only Democrats in the primary election.
Anderson had 4,497 votes compared with Feeney’s 2,234.
In the Vigo treasurer race, James W. Bramble led challenger Don Morris, 3,709 to 2,867. Bramble is former county auditor, and Morris is a current Terre Haute City Council member.
In Vigo’s clerk race, David R. Crockett had 5,079 votes, compared with C. Dwaye Malone’s 1,389. Crockett is the outgoing Vigo treasurer (who could not succeed himself). Malone is a Baptist pastor with an array of community leadership experience.
