Inmate Robert W. Scott missing

TERRE HAUTE — This week, Crime Stoppers needs help in locating 34-year-old Robert W. Scott. Scott was arrested by Terre Haute Police last July 8 and was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, false informing, leaving the scene of an accident, theft and criminal recklessness.

On Dec. 29, Scott was released from jail and given a two-year sentence to be completed on work release. Scott abided by the order, went to work and returned daily to community corrections.

After only a month, Scott left for work and never returned. Scott, 34, is 6 feet tall and weighs 250 pounds and has a shaved head and blue eyes. Scott may also have a goatee.

Crime Stoppers can be reached at 238-STOP or toll free 1-800-632-7463. All calls to Crime Stoppers are anonymous and callers could receive up to $1,000 if a tip leads to an arrest.
