Corrections: Oct. 16, 2010

n The Vigo County School Corp. lost $4.6 million in funding in 2010 due to across-the-board budget cuts from the State of Indiana. A different reason for the $4.6 million loss was reported in Friday’s edition of the Tribune-Star. The loss of an additional $3.5 million in 2011 due to property tax caps could mean less available funding for capital projects, maintenance and equipment.

n The Terre Haute city budget has not been voted on yet. The information was incorrect in a headline in Friday’s edition of the Tribune-Star. The City Council will vote on the 2011 City Budget  at 6 p.m. Oct. 26 in City Hall.
