Corrections: Mar. 9, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — • The final sentence in a story on a Parke County court case was inadvertently cut off on page A8 of Thursday’s Tribune-Star. The sentence in the story involving the case against Michael R. Collom should have read: “The plea agreement leaves the April 20 sentence open to argument presented to Judge Samuel Swaim.”

• An accident report from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department concerning a Tuesday morning crash has been corrected. The report now indicates that motorist Christy Clark had completedly stopped her vehicle on U.S. 40 because of an unrelated accident on the highway when her vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle. That impact pushed Clark’s auto into another vehicle that had stopped in front of her because of the earlier accident. A story on the incident, which closed U.S. 40 just west of the Clay-Vigo county line for about an hour, was printed in Wednesday’s Tribune-Star.
