• Purdue University-Calumet located in Hammond offers a bachelor of arts degree in business with a major in equine business management.
Information provided to the Tribune-Star for a March 2 article stated that St. Mary-of-the-Woods College had the “only equine program in Indiana.”
SMWC clarified Thursday that it is the only equine program in Indiana to offer bachelor of science degrees in equine business management, equine studies and equine training and instruction.
