TERRE HAUTE — • A Soup Bowl Benefit to raise money for Terre Haute Catholic Charities Food Bank will be conducted Saturday in the Moran Family Life Center at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Terre Haute. Doors open at 4:30 with the benefit running 5-7 p.m. A story in Sunday’s Tribune-Star included an incorrect date.

• A sentence in Sunday’s Tribune-Star Perspectives section on the future of small-town U.S. Postal Service branches was inadvertently cut off in the editing process. In discussing the changes in Prairieton, Ind., since the early 1970s, the following sentence should have read: Today, along with a couple small businesses, only the most vital organs of a small town’s anatomy remain — the church, fire department and post office.

• A story in Saturday’s Tribune-Star on the March of Dimes’ March for Babies included a statement that was incomplete. Both Union and Terre Haute Regional hospitals have neonatal intensive care units; however, Union Hospital’s NICU is the only one in a 70-mile radius with neonatology services.
