Country Music Hall of Famer Don Williams to perform in Effingham

EFFINGHAM, ILL. — The warm hickory baritone voice of Don Williams comes to Effingham Performance Center at 5 p.m. Oct. 23.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, at Ticketmaster outlets or at the Effingham Performance Center, 1325 Outer Belt West, Effingham, IL from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday. Ticket prices range from $50 to $68.

Williams’ music is the stuff of experience. This is a man who has lived life and who knows the depth of feeling and emotion ordinary people are capable of. His music is simple, direct, and to the point. On Feb. 23, 2010, the Country Music Association announced Don Williams was to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. He called this “the biggest honor of my life.” His hits include “Good Ole Boys Like Me,” “I Believe In You,” “Love Is On A Roll,” “Amanda,” and “Tulsa Time.” More information is available at www.don-

Effingham Performance Center is operated by Arts Connection of Central Illinois, a not-for-profit organization, that has been established for the citizens of Effingham County and beyond to showcase arts and entertainment, to encourage interaction with and appreciation of live performance, to endorse the educational process and to enhance the quality of life and cultural vitality of the region.
