NEW: Colts to open training camp July 24, announce schedule

TERRE HAUTE — The Indianapolis Colts begin their 56th season in the National Football League by officially opening training camp on Thursday, July 24, at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The full squad reports on July 24 and begins practice the following day.

The Colts will train at Rose-Hulman until the break of camp on Friday, Aug. 15, when they establish operations again in Indianapolis.

All practices in Terre Haute are open to the public free of charge.

TRAINING CAMP SCHEDULE


Thursday, July 24 — Players report by 2:00 p.m.

Friday, July 25 — 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (p.m. session is special teams only)

Saturday, July 26 — 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Sunday, July 27 — NO PRACTICE

Monday, July 28 — 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Tuesday, July 29 — 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (p.m. session is special teams only)

Wednesday, July 30 — 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 31 — 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (p.m. session is special teams only)

Friday, August 1 — 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 2 — 9:30 a.m.

Sunday, August 3 — Colts vs. Washington, Hall of Fame Game, 8 p.m.

Monday, August 4 — NO PRACTICE

Tuesday, August 5 — 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (p.m. session is special teams only)

Wednesday, August 6 — 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 7 — 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Friday, August 8 — 9:30 a.m.

Saturday, August 9 Colts at Carolina, 7:30 p.m. EST

Sunday, August 10 — NO PRACTICE

Monday, August 11 — 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (p.m. session is special teams only)

Tuesday, August 12 — 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, August 13 — :30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (p.m. session is special teams only)

Thursday, August 14 — 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Friday, August 15 — 9:30 a.m., BREAK CAMP
