INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts will play the Chicago Bears on Aug. 20, a preseason rematch of this year’s two Super Bowl opponents.
The Colts, who beat the Bears 29-17 in February, announced a four-game exhibition schedule today.
Indianapolis will open the preseason at Dallas on Aug. 9, followed by a Monday night game (8 p.m., ESPN) at the RCA Dome against the Bears. The Colts also will host Detroit on Aug. 25 and finish the preseason at Cincinnati Aug. 31.
It will be the seventh straight year the Colts and Bengals have played in the preseason. Indianapolis last played the Bears in the preseason in 2005.
