ON THE MOVE: Feb. 5, 2012

Debbie Dillow, a resident of Lizton, and a Providence Associate with the Sisters of Providence of St. Mary-of-the-Woods since 2008, has been named assistant director for the Providence Associate Relationship. She assumed her new duties on Feb. 1.

Providence Associates enter into the relationship for the opportunity to participate in the life and mission of the Sisters of Providence. In six years since this relationship opportunity was introduced, there are more than 160 people who have chosen to become a Providence Associate, in addition to 28 who are preparing to become associates in 2011-2012 after a year or more of candidacy.

Dillow serves on the Providence Associate Advisory Board. She has a master’s degree in media arts and science from Indiana University and has eight years of experience with ANGEL Learning/Blackboard Inc., an online learning program that integrates its curriculum with technology. During the past year, she has been a configuration consultant with Moodlerooms Inc., helping clients use Moodle/joule LMS to foster “e-learning” at their institutions.

She has been a member of St. Malachy Parish in Brownsburg since joining the Catholic Church 27 years ago.
