Lunch with a Lawyer features Reddy on March 18

TERRE HAUTE — A  Lunch with a Lawyer event featuring attorney Lakshmi Reddy, is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 18 at the Wabash Senior Activity Center at 300 S. Fifth St.

The Lunch with a Lawyer program was designed to allow senior citizens to get out of their homes, engage in fellowship with their peers, extend their available financial resources, promote enhanced living and educate themselves.

 The goal is to enhance seniors’ quality of life and provide them with the resources and protective information to make informed choices.

Reddy was born in Hyderabad, India, and began her legal career in 1997 as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Frank Sullivan Jr., on the Supreme Court of Indiana.

 She received her juris doctorate degree from Indiana University (cum laude) and bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University. Before founding Reddy Law Firm, LLC, she practiced in  business and corporate law, commercial real estate and business transactions, health law, medical malpractice defense, appellate law, civil litigation, insurance defense, estate planning and probate.

Reddy will speak about grandparents’ rights.

A brief question and answer period will follow her presentation.
