TERRE HAUTE — The EnerStar Electric Cooperative 71st Annual Meeting of Members is scheduled for Saturday at Crestwood School in Paris.
The day will begin with a complimentary pancake and sausage breakfast served by EnerStar employees from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in the school cafeteria. Member registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the business meeting scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m.
EnerStar’s board chairman, Tom DeWitt of Brocton, will open the meeting. Pastor Harry Walker of Success Christian Church will give the invocation. After taking care of routine business, secretary-treasurer John Fell of Kansas will give the 2009 Treasurer’s Report, and EnerStar President/CEO Peter Kollinger will give an update on the cooperative.
As a part of the electric cooperative, Enerstar members can exercise their right to vote for fellow members to serve on the cooperative’s board of directors. Members may return ballots in the return envelopes by mail or by hand-delivery to the EnerStar office in Paris on or before 4:30 p.m. Friday. Ballots received after that date will be void. Ballots may also be brought to the Annual Meeting on Saturday.
