Marshall, Ill. —
The University of Illinois Extension is offering a disaster preparedness course on May 23 for Clark, Crawford and Edgar county businesses called Ready Business.
The course is for owners, managers and employees of small and medium-sized businesses and will be taught in a classroom setting. The three-hour course will be offered at 5:30 p.m. May 23 at the University of Illinois Extension Office at 15493 N. Highway One, in Marshall.
After taking part in this training, participants will:
• understand the need for business continuity and disaster preparedness planning.
• know the concepts of business continuity and disaster preparedness planning.
• discover their disaster risks.
• begin writing their individual disaster plans.
To enroll call (217) 826-5422 by May 21. There will be a $5 registration fee for the workshop.
