ON THE MOVE: Jan. 22, 2012

Downtown Terre Haute Inc. has added six new members to its board of directors and begins the year with new executive leadership.

Marla Flowers, director of operations for Hulman & Co., will serve as president and succeeds outgoing president Chris Pfaff, who will continue to serve on the executive team this year. Angie Samm, banking center manager and assistant vice-president at Old National Bank, will serve as vice-president. Lisa Johnson, manager of marketing and communications for the Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation, is secretary. Colleen Chestnut, independent certified public accountant, continues to serve this year as treasurer.

“So many exciting things are happening downtown and DTH continues to add value to the dynamic growth and promotion of downtown as a destination that offers something for everyone,” Flowers said.

In addition to the recently elected executive leadership, the organization also welcomes the following new board members: Brian Dyer, Judi Evelo, Todd Nation, Marianne Richter, Jon Scherle, and Ralph Wagle.

Downtown Terre Haute, Inc. is a local non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of preserving, creating and promoting a downtown neighborhood that is a vibrant hub for business, entertainment, government, arts and educational activity, attracting both local residents and area visitors.
