Bane Equipment recently hired Kurt Lanzone as the newest member of the Bane Precision Farming team of specialists. He joins the rapidly growing team of experts whose job is to help farmers by customizing plans aimed at making farms more prosperous, which in turn makes farmers more money.
Lanzone, who earned his bachelor’s degree in agriculture systems management from Purdue University, has worked in the marine industry for several years. He will focus his efforts on educating clients about the benefits of precision farming applications.

• Union Associated Physicians Clinic announces that Dr. Adrianne Marie dela Paz has joined the UAP Clinic healthcare team as a retinal surgeon in the Ophthalmology Department.
Dr. dela Paz earned her medical degree from the College of Medicine at the University of the Philippines. She completed a general surgery internship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. She also completed a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in retinal surgery at Louisiana State University. She has a clinical interest in diabetic retinopathy and is board-eligible with the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. dela Paz will be seeing patients at the UAP Clinic Eye Center at 422 Poplar St. in Terre Haute.
• Union Associated Physicians Clinic announces that Dr. Brian Badman has joined the UAP Clinic healthcare team as the newest member of the Orthopaedic Department.
Dr. Badman earned his medical degree from Indiana University. He completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Florida. He completed a shoulder and elbow fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. His clinical interests include shoulder and elbow reconstruction, arthroscopic cuff repair, total shoulder and reverse shoulder arthroplasty, and sports medicine. He is board-certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Badman will be seeing patients at the UAP Clinic Bone and Joint Center at 1725 N. Fifth St. in Terre Haute.
