TERRE HAUTE —
Ambulatory Care Solutions LLC was recently re-awarded the contract for the Terre Haute VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic by the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis.
With about 4,300 enrollees, the Terre Haute clinic is the third-largest contractor-operated CBOC in Indiana and the fourth- largest CBOC contract with ACS. ACS is the incumbent on this contract and has been providing services at the Terre Haute clinic since April of 2006. The current contract for the Terre Haute clinic was the second awarded to ACS since its inception, and has since been followed by three other Indiana CBOC contracts in Bloomington, Goshen and South Bend.
Partnering with the Indianapolis VAMC, which administers the contract, ACS expects to continue to improve the services provided to veterans in Terre Haute for the next five years.
As a company, ACS aggressively seeks to maximize all opportunities to include veteran-owned small businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses in its CBOC contracts. These businesses are among the subcontractors who will provide services for the Terre Haute clinic.
The current CBOC at 110 W. Honeycreek Parkway will be the site for the new contract where minor improvements will be completed in the next 90 days.
All improvements are scheduled to be performed before the end of 2012 by local contractors. ACS also plans on hiring additional staff to accommodate more services requested in the new contract.
