Alorica celebrates one year in Terre Haute

Alorica Inc., a leading customer service management firm, celebrates their one-year anniversary in Terre Haute. The Terre Haute location is at 1800 Fort Harrison Road, Suite 23.

Original plans to create 600 new jobs at the Terre Haute site were announced in May 2008, which was met a quarter sooner than expected. Alorica exceeded the original job projection and currently employs more than 750 employees at the Terre Haute site.

“Our one-year anniversary is more than a marker of our success in the state of Indiana, it’s a celebration of our relationship with the people in Wabash Valley,” said Travis Vickers, site director for Alorica’s Terre Haute contact center. “The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has been a great partner in helping facilitate our growth here, and we look forward to a long future in Terre Haute.”

The Terre Haute contact center began taking calls in June 2008 to support customers of Fortune 500 companies. Last month, Alorica announced plans to open a second site in Indiana, in Lafayette, creating an additional 600 jobs in the state.

“Alorica’s investment in Indiana impacts the lives of hundreds of Hoosiers in the Wabash Valley and will soon provide opportunities to hundreds more in Tippecanoe County. We thank them for their investment in Indiana and wish them much success,” said Mitch Roob, Indiana secretary of commerce and chief executive officer of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

Alorica was established in 1999, specializing in inbound customer support, technical support, and warranty and logistics services. Candidates with an interest in or experience in technology are encouraged to apply by visiting one of Alorica’s 16 locations in person, or by visiting www.AloricaJobs.com.
