TERRE HAUTE — Indiana State University will host a free Innovation Research and Defense Workshop from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 25.
The workshop, sponsored by ISU and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, will focus on funding options and incentives for technology-based research through state and federal programs. It will include presentations from the Indiana Economic Development Corp., the Crane Technology Engagement Office and the West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center.
“The workshop will provide area businesses and faculty the opportunity to learn more about federal and state funding for research grants, in addition to making contact with experts from state and federal agencies,” said Chris Pfaff, director of Indiana State University’s Center for Business Support and Economic Innovation.
