In a memorable pitchers' duel, Terre Haute South's baseball team fell to Indianapolis Cathedral 1-0 in the Class 4A Plainfield Semistate on Saturday.
South's A.J. Reed struck out 12 batters and allowed just three hits. Cathedral's Dillon Peters struck out 10 and allowed just two Braves hits.
Cathedral's only run was unearned.
Cathedral advanced to next weekend's Class 4A championship game at Victory Field.
