TERRE HAUTE — The National Weather Service has issued a snow advisory, effective until 4 p.m. Saturday.
Two to four inches are possible throughout west central Indiana, including Vigo, Vermillion, Parke, Clay and Sullivan counties.
A quick moving clipper system will pass through central Indiana today. By this afternoon 2 to 4 inches of snow is possible. Saturday night... wind speeds will increase to 15 to 20 mph from the northwest which may cause some blowing and drifting of snow.
A Snow Advisory means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
