Castle Finn Winery is planning winter events. First up is Operation Comedy featuring Bob & Tom All Star Larry “Uncle Lar” Reeb on Jan. 19. Shows are scheduled for 6 and 9 p.m. CST.
Tickets are $20 and on sale now. Call 217-463-2600 for tickets. Five dollars from each ticket will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
A murder mystery dinner, “The Horrible Hobbit Homicide,” is planned for 5:30 p.m. CST on Feb. 2. On the menu will be BLT dip, beef tips with mushrooms and gravy, ham, corn, baked beans, mashed potatoes, layered lettuce salad, a dinner roll and various desserts.
