Old Fashioned Day & Arts Too scheduled

TERRE HAUTE — Terre Haute Parks & Recreaiton Department’s 24th annual Old Fashion Day & Arts Too is scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Collett Park.

Master of Ceremonies is Arley Price. Pottery demonstrations will be from noon to 5 p.m. Adzooks Puppets will perform at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. at the South Shelter. Fundazzler’s Clowns & Face Painters will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Entertainment will include Band of Gold, Crooked Creek, Convergence, Crossroads Brass Band and Fossil Fuel.

A Car Cruise-In is planned. A marketplace will include handmade crafts, hand woven baskets, handmade jewelry and homemade goodies from such organizations as the Wabash Valley Herb Society, Wabash Valley Quilt Guild, Wabash Valley Woodcarvers and Wabash Valley Art Guild. Try pitching a horseshoe at the horseshoe courts. Park staff will be cooking ham and beans at the North Shelter. Happiness Bag will be selling food and snacks at the pavilion. West Vigo High School will be selling Wright’s Ice Cream. Tickets are available for hayrides and carriage rides through the park.
