Polar Bear Dare/Chiller at Mill Creek

MARSHALL, ILL. — The Clark County Park District Trails Coalition is sponsoring its Polar Bear Dare 10k and 1-mile Chiller for Jan. 19 at the mountain bike/fitness trail at Mill Creek Park, west of Marshall, Ill. Event routes are paved-road and off-road trails.

The event begins at noon CST near the cabin north of the Trail Head, 18201 N. Hammer Road. Registration/packet pickup is from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. After the event, participants can enjoy a light lunch, entertainment and awards.

Entry fees are non-refundable and the event will not be canceled due to weather. Those who would like T-shirts or sweatshirts should register by Dec. 31.

Proceeds from the event go to help fund future Clark County Park District Trails events.
