TERRE HAUTE —
Terre Haute Amvets Post 222 is having a youth karaoke competition at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday in the post home at Fifth Avenue and 24th Street.
Singers ages 7 to 17 may compete for the title of Best Youth Singer in the Wabash Valley.
Contestants are to prepare three songs; songs do not have to be memorized.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three singers.
Entry is $25 and includes five tickets to the event. Entry deadline is noon Saturday.

General admission for spectators is $5.
A small portion of the proceeds will go to the post to further its mission of honoring veterans and their families.
