Casino Night of Fun to raise money for Paris hospital

PARIS, ILL. — Las Vegas-style gaming is coming to Paris, Ill., on Nov. 10.

The Hospital and Medical Foundation of Paris Inc. will sponsor its third annual Casino Night of Fun at Eagle Ridge Golf Course. The fundraising event will feature a friendly evening of black jack, poker, roulette, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.

“Our annual Casino Night has been a very popular event,” said Kim Macke, foundation development director at PCH/FMC. “People can enjoy a fun night of gaming while helping Paris Community Hospital purchase new medical equipment to enhance patient care.”

All proceeds from this year’s event will be used toward the purchase of hospital-wide, portable cardiac and vital signs monitors.

Casino Night of Fun begins at 6 p.m. Game tables open at 6:30 p.m. All dealers are volunteers and game tables are provided by Casino Party Professionals of Addison. A cash bar will be available.

The cost is $55 per person, which includes $100 in casino “play money.” Additional play money can be purchased during the evening. All play money winnings will be redeemed for raffle tickets, which can be used to “purchase” prizes (no cash winnings will be paid out).

Raffle prizes and silent auction items will include event tickets and gift certificates for area restaurants, entertainment and relaxation.

Eagle Ridge Golf Course is at 928 Clinton Road in Paris.

For tickets and more information, call Kim Macke at 217-465-2606, ext. 295. Or visit ParisCommunity
