Support Rockville gallery with purchase of original, local artwork

TERRE HAUTE — Artists at the Art Gallery on the north side of the square in Rockville have donated several pieces of their work to help reach the $15,000 grant goal offered by the Parke County Community Fund.

The grant will be used to renovate the second floor of the historic building, which will become a home for the gallery’s permanent collection, and will provide space for classes for both adults and children.

The sale price will give the buyer a 25-percent reduction in the original price. This is an opportunity to get a bargain, receive original, local artwork and support the Art Gallery. With the offering of a dollar for dollar match by the Parke County Community Fund, each sale will be doubled in value. There are gift items including pottery, photography, wood, jewelry and framed artwork. A special section has been set up for the Santa Sale, which begins today and runs through Dec. 24.

Visit the Gallery daily between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. (closed Tuesdays) and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call (765) 569-9422.
