TERRE HAUTE —
The Wabash Valley Art Guild invites artists of the Wabash Valley to take part in its annual Art in Deming Park show on July 28.
The event offers a chance to meet active artists from the Guild and from the public.
Members of the Guild also will be participating in the event.
The event begins at 10 a.m. at the Ouabache Shelter near the playground. Artists are encouraged to arrive prior to 10 and have a space ready for the public by 10. The show should run through about 3 p.m. and cost is $10.
Picnic tables will be available on a first-come/first-served basis. Two or more artists may share a table. Although a tent isn’t necessary (depending on the weather), they are welcome. Those who plan to bring a tent should consider bringing screens, easels and a table.
Each artist is responsible for negotiating the sale of their items. No commission will be taken by the Art Guild.
