River City Art Association artists will exhibit at Coffee Grounds, 423 Wabash Ave., this month. A reception will be conducted from 6 to 8 p.m. July 16. The event is showcasing new members and new art, watercolor, photography, oils and mixed media with a wide array of subject matter.
River City Art Association, in its second year of existence, has completed several exhibitions and educational projects to enhance the art experience in Terre Haute and surrounding areas. Debi and Marty Martinez obtained a not-for-profit status for the association and have given it a home at the Raven Gallery, 817 Ohio St.
River City Art Association is publishing a 2011 calendar featuring members’ artwork. The group has advertising spaces available for anyone interested. Contact Ruthann Brady at (812) 235 5759 or visit the Raven Gallery. Aug. 1 is the deadline to place an ad.
