Mr. and Mrs. John M. ‘Mike’ Stiegelbauer

Mr. and Mrs. John M. “Mike” Stiegelbauer will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, with friends and relatives.

The Stiegelbauers were married Sept. 6, 1975, in St. Benedict Catholic Church in Terre Haute.

Mrs. Stiegelbauer, the former Patty Diekmann, is the associate director of development at Gibault Inc.

Stiegelbauer is service manager at Mace Ford.

The couple have two daughters, Stacy Lowdermilk and husband Troy of Bowling Green, Ind., and Nicole Stiegelbauer and fiancé Patrick Duffy of Louisville, Ky.

They also have one granddaughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Perkins

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Perkins will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010.

Mrs. Perkins is the former Evelyn Allen.

The couple were married Sept. 5, 1950, in the Army Chapel at Fort Riley, Kansas.

The couple have five children, Michael Perkins, Judy Overstreet, Alice Hasler, Penny Barger and Marquetta Anderson. They also have 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hagerman

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hagerman of Lakeland, Fla., and formerly of Sullivan, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11, 2010, with a reception and card shower from 1 to 4 p.m. in Terrace Hotel in Lakeland.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The Hagermans were married Sept. 1, 1950, in the Sullivan home of her late sister and husband, Margie and Harry Walter.

Mrs. Hagerman, the former Peggy Nell Mood, taught at Hymera and North Central high schools and retired from Lakeland Senior High School.

Hagerman was a barber in Sullivan for 35 years. He also is retired from teaching elementary school in Lakeland.

The couple have five children, Pat Hagerman and wife Sharryl of Burnsville, N.C., Curt Hagerman (and friend Barbara Amm) of Fort Wayne, Derrik Hagerman and wife Kimberly of Terre Haute, Kim Hagerman and wife Janice of Vincennes, and April Hernandez and husband Steve of Severna Park, Md. They also have 18 grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Banks

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Banks of Clinton celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010.

The couple were married Aug. 28, 1955, in the Clinton Christian Church by the Rev. Harold Schneider.

Mrs. Banks, the former Barbara Benetti, is employed by Union Hospital Clinton.

Banks is retired after more than 63 years with Mike’s Motors of Clinton.

The couple have two children, Jim Banks and wife Debby of Terre Haute, and Jeanna Bumgardner and husband Douglas of Clinton.

They also have three grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles ‘Bob’ Howard

Mr. and Mrs. Charles “Bob” Howard will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 16, 2010.

Friends and relatives are invited to a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, in the Iron Skillet at Fairview.

It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome. 

The Howards were married Sept. 16, 1960, in the Methodist Church in Clinton.

Mrs. Howard, the former Judy Donald, is a registered nurse. He is employed by Frist Funeral Home in Clinton.

The couple have three children, Ruthie Russell and husband Jeff, Brenda Thomas and husband Buddy, and Chip Howard and wife Tammi.

They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
