Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sciotto

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sciotto of Rosedale will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, in American Legion Post 48 at Rockville.

The couple were married Oct. 20, 1951. Mrs. Sciotto, the former Lois Clouse, is a homemaker. Sciotto is a retired farmer.

The couple have four children, Mike and Roger Sciotto of Rosedale, Lisa Sciotto of Rockville, and the late Bob Sciotto. They also have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Berkley

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Berkley of Kuttawa, Ky., and formerly of Terre Haute, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, during a family trip and anniversary dinner in Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant at Nashville, Tenn.

The couple were married Nov. 4, 1961, in Terre Haute. Mrs. Berkley is the former Sharon Waller.

Berkley began his career in photofinishing at Snap Photo in Terre Haute in 1962. He retired after 43 years in the business from Qualex (Kodak subsidiary) in 2005.

Hosts will be the couple’s four children, Tonya McGue and husband John of Isle of Palms, S.C., Tom Berkley and wife Amy of Newburgh, John Berkley and wife Debbie of Newburgh, and Tim Berkley of Kuttawa. They also have nine grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McLeish

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McLeish of Las Vegas, and formerly of Clinton, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 26, 2011.

The couple were married Aug. 26, 1961, in Sacred Heart Church at Clinton.

Mrs. McLeish, the former Donna Tuberosa, is retired from the Vigo County School Corp. McLeish is retired from Turkey Run Community School Corp.

The couple have five children, Patrick McLeish of Las Vegas; Mike McLeish and wife Cindy of Terre Haute; Brian McLeish and wife Jami of Clinton; Krista Grange and husband Allen of Clinton; and Peg Minnis and husband Andrew of Indianapolis. They also have 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Perry Mager

Mr. and Mrs. Perry Mager will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the Rosedale Civic Center.

Friends and family are invited.

Mrs. Mager, the former Myrna Webster, is employed by certified public accountants Miller and Stewart LLC in Brazil. Mager, formerly of Carbon, is retired from United Parcel Service, and is a farmer and minister of Friendly Grove Church of Rosedale.  

The couple have three children, Toni Woody (Mike) of Marshall, Ind., and Greg (Jamie) Mager and Debbie Stone (Kevin), both of Rosedale; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Kendall

Mr. and Mrs. Don Kendall of West Union, Ill., will celebrate there 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011.

The Kendalls were married Oct. 29, 1971, in Toledo, Ill.

Mrs. Kendall is the former Norma Hawes.

The couple have six children. They also have 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Mr. and Mrs. Irvin N. Cooney

Mr. and Mrs. Irvin N. Cooney of West Terre Haute celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family and friends on Oct. 8, 2011.

The Cooneys were married Oct. 6, 1946, in Indianapolis.

The couple have six children, 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
