Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Ford Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Ford Jr. of Terre Haute celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on Oct. 15, 2012.

The Fords were married on Oct. 15, 1949, by the Rev. A.L. Gardner in Parsons, Kans. She is a homemaker. He is retired from Accurate Glass Inc.

The couple have four children, Kathy (and Darryl) Pierce of Indianapolis, Joseph T. Ford III of Terre Haute, Terese (and Elijah) Bishop of Terre Haute, and Randy Ford of Montgomery, Ala. They also have 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. David Hills

David L. and Barbara J. Hills of Terre Haute celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Oct. 18, 2012, at home.  

They were married Oct. 18, 1959, in Decatur, Ill.

They welcome calls from friends and relatives. Cards are welcome and may be sent to 2226 N. 30th St., Terre Haute, IN 47804.

Barb is an office manager at H&R Block, Clinton office. Dave is retired from Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 157.

The couple have four children, Craig A. Hills of Indianapolis, Jeffrey Hills of Terre Haute, Ninette Lynn of Amherst, N.H., and David E. Hills of Nashville, Tenn. They also have 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Walker

Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Walker of West Terre Haute will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in Emmanuel United Methodist Church on U.S. 150 North.

Friends and relatives are invited. Cards are welcome.

Jesse Walker and the former Christine Edington were married on Oct. 17, 1962.

Host will be their four children, sons Jesse, Gary and Doug Walker, and daughter Cindy Marrs. They also have seven grandchildren.
