TERRE HAUTE — ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fell

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fell of Terre Haute will observe their 70th wedding anniversary on April 4, 2012. They will celebrate with family in Colorado.

The Fells were married on April 4, 1942, in Dean Avenue Christian Church by Leroy Logan.

Mrs. Fell is the former Grace Cassle. Fell is retired from General Telephone Co.

The couple have three daughters, Janice Schoffstall and husband Larry, Linda Horn and husband Wayne, and Shirley Ellis and husband Charles. They also have seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

ENGAGEMENTS

Dugger-Barger

Andrea K. Dugger and Wayn Barger of Bargersville will be united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 8, 2012, in Saints Francis and Clare Catholic Church at Greenwood.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Sheila and Dennis Dugger of Terre Haute. She is a 1996 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School and a 2001 graduate of Indiana State University with a communications studies degree. She is self-employed.

Barger is the son of Roxanna and Steve Wood of Franklin and a 1994 graduate of Franklin Community High School. He is employed by Spears Auto Parts in Franklin.

Steiner-Karaus

Jack and Jean Steiner of Terre Haute announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Megan Steiner, to Bryan Karaus, son of Judy Karaus of Palos Hills, Ill.

An October 2012 wedding is planned at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Indiana State University with degrees in criminology and legal studies. She will receive her juris doctor degree this spring from Valparaiso University School of Law.

Karaus is a 2002 graduate of Amos Alonzo Stagg High School in Palos Hills and a 10-year active duty member of the United States Coast Guard. 

Miller-Simmons

Melissa Rene Miller of Brazil and Ryan Matthew Simmons of Plainfield will be united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2012, in the Indiana Statehouse at Indianapolis.

Friends and relatives are invited.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Marty and Bob Miller of Brazil, a 2005 graduate of Northview High School, a 2009 graduate of Indiana University and a 2011 graduate of IUPUI. She works in assistant management in Greenwood.

Simmons is the son of Cynthia and Roy Simmons of Plainfield, a 2004 graduate of Avon High School and a 2008 graduate of Indiana University. He is employed by School Town of Speedway.
