ANNIVERSARIES: NOV. 20, 2011

Mr. and Mrs. Abel Lee Archer

Mr. and Mrs. Abel Lee Archer will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Harrison College in Terre Haute.

It is requested that gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome.

The Archers were married Nov. 28, 1946, in First Baptist Church of West Terre Haute.  

Mrs. Archer is the former Mary Louise Carson.

Hosts will be the couple’s daughters, Mary Lee Bailey and Ruth Ridener; and their three grandchildren

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tucker

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tucker of Marshall, Ill., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August with a trip to Alaska.

Cards are welcome and may be mailed to 13599 E. 1000th Road, Marshall, IL 62441.

The Tuckers were married Nov. 23, 1961, in the Scottland Methodist Church at Scottland, Ill., by the Rev. Burton Heleine.

Mrs. Tucker, the former Linda Ingram, was last employed by Smith Barney.

Tucker is retired from Prudential Insurance Co.

The couple have two children, Greg Tucker and wife Carol of Marshall, Ill., and Yelonda Harshman and husband Darol of Brownsburg. They also have three grandsons.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Haberle

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Haberle of Carlisle celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, in the Carlisle Community Center.

It is requested that gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome.
