Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoopingarner
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoopingarner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary during an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, in Barbour Avenue United Methodist Church.
Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome.
The couple were married Nov. 7, 1959, in Barbour Avenue UMC.
Mrs. Hoopingarner, the former Betty Gentry, is retired from the Vigo County School Corp.
Hoopingarner is retired after 33 years with the United States Postal Service.
The couple have two children Kathy Elkins and husband Todd, and Sherri Armstrong and husband Joe.
They also have four grandchildren.
