Mr. and Mrs. Timothy L. Foxx

Mr. and Mrs. Timothy L. Foxx of Brazil will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009.

Friends and relatives are invited to a cookout from 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at their residence.

It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome.

The couple were married Sept. 15, 1984.

Mrs. Foxx, the former Patricia “Patti” Bauers, is employed by Timothy J. Gorman CPA of Brazil.

Foxx is employed by Woodburn Graphics at Terre Haute.

The couple have two children, Kenny Foxx of Indianapolis and Heather Foxx of Terre Haute.



Mr. and Mrs. James R. Yates

Mr. and Mrs. James R. Yates of Pimento celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 24, 2009.

Cards are welcome and may be sent to 14197 S. All St., Pimento, IN 47866.

The couple were married Aug. 24, 1949, in the home of the Rev. Clyde Rodabaugh of Terre Haute. Mrs. Yates is the former Mary L. Hoop.

The couple have four children, Don and Lu of Monroe, N.Y., Jim and Trudy of Lewis, Ken and Pearl of Bedford, Va., and Marilyn Lifford of Jasonville. They also have nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.



Mr. and Mrs. William Crosson Hanna

Mr. and Mrs. William Crosson Hanna of Dennison, Ill., celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Monday, Aug. 31, 2009.

The Hannas were married Aug. 31, 1979, in the Dennison United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hanna is the former Deanie Holmes.

The couple have one child, Haily Dean.



Mr. and Mrs. Roland L. ‘Buz’ Worthington

Mr. and Mrs. Roland L. “Buz” Worthington are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, Sept. 6, 2009.

It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome.

The Worthingtons were married Sept. 6, 1959, in Terre Haute.

Mrs. Worthington, the former Marla Kay Williams, volunteers in the local school system telling Indiana folk tales and Native American stories.

Worthington is retired from GTE, and is a substitute teacher.

The couple have five children, Babbette Slaughter and husband John of Elkhart; Andy and wife Heidi of Greencastle; and Matt and wife Teresa, Wil and wife Rhena, and Jana Weeks and husband Jim, all of Terre Haute. They also have 14 grandchildren.



Mr. and Mrs. Charles Branson

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Branson of Danville, Ind., and Bradenton, Fla., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, in Red Bud Hill Facility in Rockville.

Friends and relatives are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted but cards are welcome.

The Bransons were married Sept. 12, 1959, in the EUB Union Township Church near Bellmore.

Mrs. Branson, the former Bertha Brown, is retired after working 15 years as manager of Spencer’s Corner Barn and Soda Fountain in Marshall, Ind.

Branson is retired after 23 years at Eli Lilly & Company at Clinton, and is retired from farming in Marshall, Ind.

Hosts will be the couple’s five children and their spouses, Chuck and Ronja Branson, Joe and Angie Branson, Steve Branson, Debbie and Jay Hicks, and Becky and Jon Cowart. They also have 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
