Mr. and Mrs. James Wood

Mr. and Mrs. James Wood celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family on New Years Eve, Dec. 31, 2010, at Thunder Bay Resort in Hillman, Mich.

The couple were married Dec. 31, 1960, in Orlando, Fla.

Mrs. Wood, the former Jane Etts, is a retired nurse. Wood retired from MAB Paints in 1998 after 26 years as plant manager.

The couple have two children, Paul Wood of Knoxville, Tenn., and Philip Wood and wife Leah of Kansas City, Mo.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Price

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Price of West Terre Haute will observe their 40th wedding anniversary Jan. 23, 2011.

A reception is scheduled 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in First Church of the Nazarene in Terre Haute.

The couple were married Jan. 23, 1970, in Northside Church of the Nazarene in Terre Haute. Mrs. Price is the former Sandra Leclercq.

Hosts will be the couple’s two sons, William Price and wife Soni, and Anthony Price and fiancée Jennifer. They also have three grandchildren.
